Attractions Galore at SIUF 2017

Registration is now open as SIUF 2017 prepares to return to Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, China from 19 – 21 April for its 12th edition. Organized by “Shenzhen Shengshi Jiuzhou Exhibition” and owned by “Tarsus Group”, the joint trade fair SIUF, also named as “China (Shenzhen) International Brand Underwear Fair & Shenzhen International Underwear OEM/Materials and Fabrics Fair”, has made its way to become the most influential fair in Asia. The 2017 show is on track to be the largest edition yet and will have a continuous focus on offering the whole supply &distribution chain of intimate apparel industry in terms of fabrics, accessories, brands, production and solutions for intimates, swimwear, sportswear and lounge wear.

Adapting the show’s content in line with consumer trends, the 2017’s edition will offer a whole package of activities during the show’s three-day run:

The "Kingcraft Awards":
As China’s most influential distribution awards since 2013 it gives out the annual grand awards to all the channels of underwear industry and becomes the best platform for brands to get into the industry fast and effectively.

The "Golden Dudou Awards":
The “Best of the Year” feature is an annual tradition meant to be a roundup of some of the most interesting, exciting, innovative, and noteworthy brands in the intimate apparel industry in China. Francesca Spinetta, the CEO of INTIMA ASIA will award their favourite brand at this ceremony.

The "Supermodel Talent Show" Final:
The 4th “Supermodel Talent Show”, as a part of SIUF 2017, is an annual contest organized by SIUF committee. The "Supermodel Talent Show final". Held in 10 cities including Paris, Milano and Moscow, the show offers unique performance and educational opportunities for aspiring models to showcase their skills, while new collections were presented to industrial and public visitors. Rene Celestin, the creative director of Victoria’s Secret’s annual fashion show, was employed with a panel of judges to critique contestants’ progress throughout the competition.

The "Oriental Charm" Design Contest:
A total of 30 pieces of outstanding collections will compete for the champion. Nathalie Martinet, the Vice President of R&D and Bra design at Victoria's Secret and other celebrities in lingerie industry was invited as the judge to select the best.
