ExOfficio® unveils new base layer collection based on their award-winning underwear collection

For 30 years, ExOfficio® has helped people experience the magic of travel through the design of innovative apparel, giving travelers the confidence and freedom to explore the world. ExOfficio, recognized around the world for its award-winning underwear, is launching a new collection of men’s and women’s travel base layers that incorporate the adaptive, comfortable, odour fighting technology found in its underwear collections.

“Adding a technical travel base layer underneath your everyday styles is a key component of a versatile and comfortable travel outfit,” said ExOfficio General Manager, Brian Thompson. “These pieces allow the traveler to expand their comfort zone through smart layering while also reducing the number of items in the suitcase.”

ExOfficio’s fall 2017 launch of the travel base layer collection stemmed from the traveler’s need to maintain a steady, comfortable body temperature throughout the day. These base layers offer superior softness, outstanding stretch and recovery so that they won’t snag or bag, and excellent moisture management. Ultrafine silver particles in the yarn provide permanent odour control, while microfiber mesh provides exceptional breathability, quick drying, and abrasion resistance 20x that of wool and more than 10x greater than silk.

Highlights from the ExOfficio fall 2017 base layer collection include:

  • Comfortable nylon/spandex blend
  • Antimicrobial treatment reduced odour in fabric
  • Mesh fabric allows airflow
  • Wicks moisture away from skin
  • Stretch to fit, sizes S-2XL

The entire range for the new ExOfficio fall 2017 collection will be shown in January 2017 at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in booth #14027 at the Salt Palace Convention Center. They will also be available for purchase at retail stores and online throughout North America and Europe in August 2017.
