London Textile Fair ready to hit a new high this 2017

A new year a new show, 2017 commences with the January edition of The London Textile Fair. The show is once again at full capacity, with over 400 of the greatest textile mills Europe has to offer, presenting their Spring/Summer 2018 pre-collections. The show will present a wide selection of collections from Italy, Portugal, Turkey, France, UK, Spain, Germany and many more.

This edition will see more than 400 exhibitors in 4 halls (textiles, accessories, print studios and vintage garments) which will present their latest collections to the top UK buyers all under the beautiful roof of the Business Design Centre during the 11-12 January 2017.

TLTF is predominantly European, the textiles and accessories manufacturers have together more than 90% of the total exhibiting space. The show is the best occasion European manufacturers have to meet British buyers and the reviews from exhibitors are as usual very positive. The rebooking rate from previous editions is around 95% with a large group of mills exhibiting from the very beginning. A considerable number of new exhibitors for this July edition, 30 in textiles, 15 in accessories and 10 in the print and vintage hall.

Confirming its positive trend, The London Textile Fair, has become an unmissable event for all industry professionals.

The exhibitors are forecasting about 5500 – 6000 visitors for the January edition, 90% of which would be from the UK. TLTF is the leading textile show in the UK with a consistent and increasing number of industry professionals coming from Central and North Europe.

"Among our regular visitors are: River Island, Victoria Beckham, Harrods, Alexander McQueen, Tommy Hilfiger, American Outfitters, Ted Baker, House of Fraser, John Lewis, La Perla UK, Asos, Calvin Klein, LACOSTE, Chanel, Dorothy Perkins, Tesco, MaxMara, New Look, Monsoon, House of Fraser, ZARA and many more. TLTF is for trade professional only, students will be admitted on the second day," explained the show promoters.

The Exhibition

The accessories and textiles halls have together more than 90% of the total exhibiting space, with about 400 exhibitors. The rebooking rate is around 95% and, with the Business Design Centre at full capacity, they have hired 2 new rooms to accommodate 50 new exhibitors.

January’s 2017 edition will have a wide selection of womenswear, menswear, childrenswear fabrics and accessories with an increasing number of technical textiles manufactures. The Accessories Hall has grown exponentially over the last 4 editions, showcasing an impressively diverse range of products from the best European manufacturers.

The Print Design and Vintage Garments hall attracts the leading UK and international studios, with a large number of studios exhibiting also at The London Print Design Fair which takes place in March and October.
