Trident Group textile brand turnover to exceed Rs 300 cr by 2020: Deepak Nanda, MD 

 
Trident Group hopes its textile brand turnover would exceed Rs 300 cr by 2020 as more Indians splurge on bed and bath linen, targeting 50% growth on year on year basis to reach there. 
 
“Trident aspires to be amongst top three home textile brands in the country and offer 'affordable luxury' with brand turnover greater than Rs 300 cr,” said MD Deepak Nanda.  With domestic textile market expected to become a $5.6 bn entity by 2020, the Ludhiana-headquartered textiles to paper company says 2017-18 will be a year of consolidation and to make inroads in the domestic market. “Trident intends to make good inroads in next 3 years in domestic market and capture at least 15% share by 2020,” he told ET.  “We have launched a wide basket of products catering to all price points in Indian market. We would want to have our offerings for both mass as well as luxury consumers,” he said. The company offers Organica , Nectar soft and Indulgence brands under premium collection, Cuddlies and Bath Buddy under kids' collection, Everyday and Classic under 24 * 7 collection and Play and Play Lite under active life collection.
